Thermal stress of moulded battery case under high-temperature.
Fully charged batteries are exposed to a moderately high temperature to evaluate temperature impact on moulded case integrity. The battery is placed in a chamber at a temperature of 70°C. The high-temperature testing remains for 7 h.

Protection battery from fire and explosion under the test of short-circuiting of the battery terminals.
Fully charged batteries with a fault in the discharge protection system are short-circuited by connecting the positive and negative terminals with a milliohm external resistance. The batteries remain on test for 24 hours or until the temperature of battery declines.

Protection from fire and explosion under the test of dropping battery.
Fully charged batteries are exposed to mechanical stress during multiple drops in random orientations from a given height onto a floor .

Applied for cells only
Protection battery from fire and explosion under the charge test with overstepped maximum ratings.
A fully discharged batteries are connected to the power supply operation in constant current mode with overstepped rated charge voltage. The temperature of the tested battery shall be controlled until the case of the battery reaches a given thermal state.

Applied for cells only
Protection battery from leakage, fire and explosion under mechanical shocks and vibrations encountered during transportation.
Fully charged batteries are fixed to a vibrating platform shall be subjected to multiple vibration tests with variable frequency and acceleration. Tests shall be repeated for three mutually perpendicular mounting positions (x,y,z).
In case of mechanical shock, fully charged batteries are rigidly fixed to a vertical shock platform. Tested batteries shall be subjected to multiple shock tests with the same acceleration. Tests shall be repeated for three mutually perpendicular mounting positions (x,y,z).
